Christina Kloeckner "Sunflower III" Watercolor & Sharpie on Canvas 2010 16"x20" Sold to UNO Mammell Hall College of Business Administration Students are always asking if I make art at home? Of course I do! I try to as often as possible, which is sometimes hard with a toddler in tow. This week 5th Graders will be creating art in my favorite style Pen & Ink and will be viewing some of my art in class. I asked for 5th graders to bring in flowers from their gardens, for us to draw from life. They brought in a plethora of plants for us to draw this week! We will start off by just discovering the plants and looking at all the parts. By the end of the first 45 minute art class they will have selected a flower for their final project and draw it in as much detail as possible. We are running low on a few things in the Art Room & are always in search of recyclables. If you have anything on our list that you would like to donate please consider it.
COLOR PENCILS!!! We are really low on color pencils, used color pencils are a ok with us. Tape is All the Rage! We would love some decorative duct tape, colored masking tape or electrical tape, & washi tape. Pencils & Pink Erasers are always welcome Egg Cartons Empty frosting tubs Empty yogurt cups Thanks for the goodies pictured above goes to my Uncle, just because he's cool! Here is just some of our art that was made this summer! Great Job Bennington.
